If you do your job as a business owner, you are constantly prospecting. You meet people at networking events; follow you. People register for discovery sessions through your site; keep the discovery sessions. You meet people face-to-face meetings; follow you. You call. Sending personal emails. You create an online marketing campaign.
And sometimes you get No.
I will not hide. No suck. They can make you feel like you do not know what you're doing, you're not good enough, you're not worth it.
You could even start rethinking your business model and the entire entrepreneurial life.
I invite you to think about all No you a little differently.
No can be a gift. In fact, I will say otherwise: they are a gift, and here's why.
No help you get clear about your ideal customer. If you really look your conversation with this person, it is really ideal for you? More than likely not. I bet if you look objectively the conversation, you'll find red flags. Documenting these and use them to be more clear about who you do not want to work and who you do get.
No help determine where in front of your ideal client. If you are still talking to a lot of non-ideal clients, you may have hanging places in this. So, put your thinking cap ... where you could find your ideal customers? networking Streeeeeeeetch and new places.
No help clarify the benefits that you offer. Is it possible that your benefits are not clear enough or strong enough? Is it difficult prospects to see how they can benefit from your products and services? Do you need to boost your sales skills? Do you need a better connection between what they desperately need and what you do to competently offer?
No help you make your product or timely service. Does your product or service to meet their needs NOW? And where this need is on a scale of 1 to 10? If it is a second, of course, they will say no. If the need is 7-10, they need you. And what to do to make it clear that you can solve this pain or intense problem ... NOW?
So be nice to you. Be gentle with yourself. Love yourself. Monitoring and are the owner of a large company. Following these interviews and objectively analyzed. What did you learn? What can you change? What changes should you do?
embrace the No, make changes, and to find the Yes of.
I believe in you!
